Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer with • 2–5 years experience in industrial instrumentation sales to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth. The role requires frequent travel to meet clients, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through client visits, cold calls, and lead follow-ups
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
• Present, demonstrate, and promote company products/services to prospective clients
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms
• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Conduct market research to understand customer requirements and market trends
• Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer data
• Participate in exhibitions, customer meetings, and business development activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Instrumentation / E&I / Electronics.
• 2–5 years experience in industrial instrumentation sales.
• Strong knowledge of level measurement instruments (Radar, Ultrasonic, DP, Magnetic Level Gauge, Level Switches).
• Ability to understand and interpret P&ID drawings.
• Basic understanding of process parameters (pressure, temperature, density).
• Experience in preparing technical and commercial quotations.
• Good negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to generate new enquiries through field visits.
• Strong follow-up skills for order conversion and payment collection.
• Knowledge of industrial sectors such as Water, Chemical, Pharma, Oil & Gas is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
• Good communication skills in English (local language proficiency preferred).
