LASER LEVEL / DISTANCE TRANSMITTER
This is a non-contact level and distance measuring instrument, designed for granular materials and opaque liquids. The narrow beam characteristics of a laser allow direct aiming to a target surface, without interferences from structures or falling material.
APPLICATIONS :
- For detection of blockages at feeder inlet and controlling the same
- For level sensing & control in vertical slim silos with narrow inlet opening
- For specific positioning of tripper car in dusty environment during loading process
- For measurement of dumping height to ascertain correct storage capacity in cement plant
- For measurement of precise distance for conveyor positioning to reclaim coal
- For quick detection of gap (distance) between the wagons and controlling the distance (positioning) to prevent collision in dusty environment due to poor visibility
- To measure level of plastic granules (low dielectric) in silos where radar transmitter fails to perform
- For measurement of salt level in stock yard where ultrasonic & radar transmitter is not successful due to steep angle of repose
